AFCAT Application form 2014 IAF AFCAT 01/2014 Exam Date Apply Online

Indian Air Force (IAF) has recently published notification to interested or eligible candidates  to fill  Online Applications for the following courses commencing in January, 2015 for grant of short service Commission in Flying branch and permanent / short service commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches.

Interested or eligible candidates can easily apply online through the official website i.e. www.careerairforce.nic.in on before 12th January, 2014

• No. 137 Ground Duty Officers’ (137 GDOC) Course (Permanent Commission)

Capability Criteria for AFCAT 01/2014.

Age Limitation:

 1. For flying branch: Candidates Age cannot across 23 should not below 19(age relaxation will applicable as per govt. rule) 2. For Technical Branch : Candidates Age cannot across 28 should not below 18(age relaxation will applicable as per govt. rule)  
3. For Ground Duty branches : Candidates Age cannot across 27 should not below 19(age relaxation will applicable as per govt. rule.


 Qualification required : 

 1. For flying Branch :  Graduates / Post Graduation Degree / BE / B.Tech degree (Four year course)  from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers.

2. For Technical Branch:  All candidates applying for Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical & Electronics branch) should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together

3. For Ground Duty branches: Candidates must possess Graduate / Post Graduate Degree (min. 60% marks) in any discipline. 

Selection mode :Capable candidates will be selected on the basis of  on the basis of written test which will be held on 23rd February, 2014, then shortlisted students  will be selected on the basis of Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Examination and Interview  conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).


Candidates who want to apply for Flying branch, they need to face Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) which is based on the choice of branch

Salary :
1. For Flying Branch : Rs. 69,130/-.
2. For Technical Branch : Rs. 60,380/-.
3. For Ground Duty Branches : Rs. 57,880/-.
