SSC has recently issued notification to interested or eligible candidates to filling up SSC Multitasking Staff 2016. Every year SSC has conducted SSC MTS Examination 2016 in different center & exam schedule  is 3 hour students who are going to appear in this examination they are required to understand the exam pattern and syllabus so that they can do better preparation. SSC Multitasking Staff MTS 2016 Exam pattern: 

 Examination will consist of two papers:

1. Paper-I (Objective type)

2. Paper-II (Descriptive type)

Subject name	Max marks	Total  time schedule for General candidates	Total time schedule for visually handicapped
Short Essay/Letter in English or  any language included in the 8th  schedule of the Constitution.	50	30 minutes	45 minutes

Important note: Part- I will consists of Objective Type multiple choice questions. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC Multitasking Staff MTS Syllabus 2016-17:

Paper-I :
1. General intelligent : Non -verbal type questions. Questions on Similarities & differences, Space visualization, problem solving, analysis, decision making , visual memory, observation, relationship, concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.

2. English Language: Basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage.

3. Numerical Aptitude : Number Systems, Computation of  Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Menstruation, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

4. General Awareness : Knowledge of current events and questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.

Paper-II : Candidates will be required to write one short paragraph / letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of Constitution.
